Girls Basketball 2026 - Winter II 2026

NORTH FRANKLIN GIRLS BASKETBALL

Our 3rd-6th grade basketball league is underway! This is a great opportunity for girls in our community to try basketball for the first time, or return as a seasoned player to improve their skills. Our primary goal is to help kids fall in love with the game. We focus on the fundamentals of basketball, and end the season with some competitive play.

If you are new to NF Girls Basketball please note: There will be no accommodations for players requesting specific coaches, or players requesting to play with other players. Parents who volunteer to coach will have their kiddo(s) on their team, but we will not pick assistant coaches until after teams are formed. The goal is to divide teams as fairly as possible to make this learning experience fun and the focus on developing skills. AAU teams for example, will also be split up.

The duration of our season is 6 weeks, starting Monday, February 9th and ending Saturday, March 21st.

Weeks 1 through 3 will be practices only, weeks 4 through 6 we add 1-2 games a week.

VOLUNTEER INFO: Please volunteer to be a head coach! Referees will also be needed so please consider being a ref!

NEW THIS YEAR: MLK 3 on 3 Clinic January 19th & 3v3 open play Saturdays. Register on the website for this new offering!

Times: Grades 1-3rd 8:00 am, 4th-6th 9:00 am

2026 CWC Little Guy Wrestling - Winter I 2026

Welcome EVERYONE to the Connell Little Guy Wrestling!

Washington Little Guy is affiliated with USA Wrestling. You can register right here, and we will take care of the USA card for your wrestler. Once we submit all of our wrestler's parent's will be able to setup profiles after that process. You do not need to get a card early. 

If you want to coach, please register here as a volunteer and we will reach out with instructions.

Tournament locations have not been selected yet. Dates for tournaments will be March 7, 14, 21, 28, and April 4th

Each tournament is $10 and Spokane is $15.

We will need many volunteer helpers this year as we will be hosting. For additional info look at the wrestling tabs above.

High School- Student Coaches are welcome and can register as assistant coaches.

REGISTRATIONS NEED TO BE SUBMITTED BY January 31st. NO LATE ENTRIES!!!

Boys Basketball 2025-2026 - Winter 2025

NORTH FRANKLIN BOY'S BASKETBALL

The basketball league is back for the fourth season under the Connell Junior Eagles. Jeff Hawkins is the boys' basketball coordinator. This year 3rd-6th grade boys will start practicing December 10th. This will allow those able to practice during Winter break. Games will start the week of January 5th, and the season will end before Saturday February 7th. Games will be on weekdays consistent with last year. The finale will be on a Saturday.

This league focuses on the basic fundamental principles. 

We are working with our high school coach to continue a fundamental program to develop skills, emphasize fun, and build competitors.

If you can help coach or ref at any capacity, please enroll as a volunteer.

Boys' registration closes December 5th at 11:00 pm

Parents of K-2nd grade, look for some open gym clinics to happen this year. We are working with some of our high school players to offer some fundamental clinics. 

Girl's Registration will open in December. Girls' season will start February 9th

K-2nd Basketball skills clinics - Winter 2025

NORTH FRANKLIN COED K-2 BASKETBALL SKILLS (MONDAY CLINICS)

NEW THIS YEAR!!

Jr. Eagles will expand to offer a COED single location (Palouse Gym, in Connell) offering for our kinder through second grade group.

This offering will focus on the basic fundamental principles. Emphasis will be on dribbling, passing, and posture. 

We are working with our high school coach to continue a fundamental program to develop skills, emphasize fun, and build competitors.

THIS OFFERING WILL NEED MANY VOLUNTEERS TO MANAGE THE GROUP.

Groups will meet on four or five Mondays
